Reason for needing:
People living around the town of Sauraha and in the Tharu villages are in a marginal income group. Due to the lack of education and finances, they do not have regular check-ups. The nearest Hospitals are 20 k away and it is difficult and expensive to travel. They go to hospital only when they are completely ill. Sometimes it is too late, causing more serious illnesses and sometimes death.
This could be prevented by check-ups in the early stages of an illness.
In recent years the Terai area of southern Nepal has also been affected by an eye disease, The GSN Health Clinic will treat this virus.

Objectives:

To build a Health Clinic to serve the local community and Tharu area.

The building is 60% completed.
